Anderson SB50 Pinout
Polarized, genderless 50 A two-pole battery/power connector for EV, forklift, RC, and robotics.
Overview
The Anderson SB50 is a two-contact, single-housing connector rated 50 A continuous. Both halves are mechanically and electrically identical (genderless) and snap together face-to-face.
The housing holds two contacts side by side, one positive and one negative. The shell is mechanically polarized (keyed) so it can only mate in the correct orientation, and color-coded housings prevent connecting incompatible voltage systems.
Pinout
| Pin | Name | Function | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| + | Positive | POWER | Positive battery/supply contact |
| - | Negative | GND | Negative / return contact |
Notes
- Two contacts in one polarized housing - not two separate shells.
- Housing is keyed so it cannot mate reverse-polarity; color codes identify voltage systems.
