DisplayPort Pinout
VESA's 20-pin digital A/V interface using packetized main-link lanes and an AUX channel.
Overview
The full-size DisplayPort connector has 20 pins carrying up to four Main Link (ML) differential lanes, a bidirectional AUX channel, hot-plug detect, and a 3.3V power pin. Video and audio are sent as micro-packets over the main link rather than as separate RGB lines.
This pinout is for the source-side (plug) connector; on the sink side the lane order is reversed (lane 0 and lane 3 swap positions). Pin 20 (DP_PWR) supplies 3.3V/500mA but must be left unconnected on passive DP-to-DP cables.

Notes
- Sink-side connectors reverse lane order (lane 0 and lane 3 swap).
- Passive DP-to-DP cables must leave pin 20 (DP_PWR) unconnected per DP 1.1+.
