DVI-I Pinout
The integrated DVI connector carrying both digital TMDS and analog RGBHV video.
Overview
DVI-I (Integrated) combines the 24 digital pins of DVI-D with five extra analog contacts (C1-C5) around the flat blade, letting one connector carry digital TMDS or analog VGA-style RGBHV. This made DVI-I a convenient bridge during the transition from analog CRTs to digital displays.
The 24 digital pins are identical to DVI-D (dual-link). The analog cross pins carry the three RGB video lines, the analog horizontal sync, and an analog ground around the wide ground blade, so a passive DVI-I-to-VGA adapter simply reroutes C1-C5.
