Grove 4-pin Pinout
Seeed Studio's keyed 4-pin 2.0mm module connector - fixed power/ground, protocol-dependent signals.
Overview
Grove (Seeed Studio) is a keyed 4-pin, 2.0 mm-pitch connector for solderless module wiring. Power and ground positions are fixed (pin 3 = VCC, pin 4 = GND); only the two signal pins change meaning by module type.
For I2C modules pins 1/2 are SCL/SDA; for UART RX/TX; for analog A0/A1; for digital D0/D1. VCC is selectable 5 V or 3.3 V by the host board.
Pinout
| Pin | Name | Function | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | SIG1 (SCL/RX/A0/D0) | I2C / UART / SIGNAL / DATA | Primary signal - meaning depends on module type |
| 2 | SIG2 (SDA/TX/A1/D1) | I2C / UART / SIGNAL / DATA | Secondary signal - meaning depends on module type |
| 3 | VCC | POWER | Power (5 V or 3.3 V per host board) |
| 4 | GND | GND | Ground |
Notes
- VCC=pin 3, GND=pin 4 are fixed; only the two signal pins vary by module.
- For I2C the order on pins 1/2 is SCL then SDA.
