Logic level & voltage

Logic level is 3.3 V (per the board specs). Power via VBUS (5 V USB) or VSYS (1.8-5.5 V); the onboard regulator produces the 3.3 V rail. GPIOs are not 5 V-tolerant.

Typical uses

  • MicroPython / C++ learning and prototyping
  • PIO-driven custom interfaces (e.g. WS2812, DPI)
  • Low-cost sensor and control projects

Wiring notes & gotchas

  • The three ADC pins are 3.3 V max — never feed 5 V into them.
  • Add an external ADC (e.g. MCP3008) when you need more than 3 analog channels.
  • Level-shift 5 V devices on shared buses.
